If you get a flower or not is a random thing. The probability is different for different products.

check out the website crazybigfarm.tk for all event drop rates, its really handy.

Your best way to get those blossoms it to keep your mill, silo and composter busy at all times ;)

Well… last time it came around, I managed to make it.  Got the second highest prize and the colorable chicken coop.
It was tough indeed.

So this time, on all three of my farms, I went for the top prize.  I think it's safe to say I can forget about it.
THREE FULL DAYS of seashells.  THREE DAYS!!!!!  I can't make a dent.  And I"m so sick of this game by now…
I tried corn corn corn….. when I have to leave I'd put in beans.  Bed time was sunflowers and/or wheat.
Sunflowers… what a let down.  Two on each farm, that's six total and ONLY ONE produced anything. Eight hours for that?
Assorted 45 min flowers will usually hand over 20.  But not even every field.   And needed are 3300.
Three days and I'm still not there.   SIck of it I tells ya.

I know from last time the next one is apples.  A WHOLE LOT of apples.  This farm only has three fields so probably no way.  After the last time I put in a few more orchards in my other farms so though there I MIGHT have a chance.
But again still can't get past the stupid seashells.
Also this time… I don't have the stash of seaweed I had last time.  I used it all the last time plus pushed a few with gold.
Stlil apples took a few days.

There is no way.   I don't know how anyone can do this without spending money.  And a prize you have to buy is no prize to me.

My coops will be doing stuff tomorrow so I'll check in for that, but I don't care much for events that are impossible.

I'm actually playing the candy farm this go around but that too… just frustrating.  I'm only barely getting up to level 5 now.
Again no way I'll ever see the top spots.  Or even second to the top prizes.    It's just a real frustrating drag knowing it all goes away just when things get moving.
I wish GG would at least bring back island events where we left off.  Same way they do when the test server comes back around.  It's where ever we left off.   So I know it's possible.  At least it would be fun.

Yea… my teams will get some help but I think I need to find some other projects to get after.   Wasting my time on here for absolutely nothing.

Just frustrated is all.  I'll get over it.

I wish there was level 7 difficulty, I finished level 6 in 3 days and use 0 gold.

@Artmaker (GB1) I just go for the lower levels and pretty much coast.  I don't end up with a great deco, of course, but I have something to give to Greta for parts.  Going for the top  puts too much stress for my little farm at the level it's on now.

[3448578] Dark Underworld (AU1) [AU1] :: March 20, 2017, 1:24 a.m.
if over level 100 recommend change to high production farm with no deco, makes events a LOT easier.

Always got to keep flower farm happy though

Wow look at all those space ships.  lol. Looks like a whole other world invaded.

Yea I know.  Super farms.  My problem is I LIKE the deco.  My farms are full of asian spots, the castle corner, pink zones, water parks, tiki viliages.  I love the deco but it means winning more is darn tough.  I'd be happy to get it just once.  (per farm of course.)  Complete my collection.

It must take forever to harvest all those things.
OH well.  I'm STILL working on shells.  No point in spending anything trying to push apples this time.  Clearly this is a no way (for me) event.

I may not win events.  But superfarms just look SO boring.  (Except all those space ships… that's just too cool.  Probably terrorized your piggies.)

I agree.  And have been doing that for a long time. Actually the last time hawaii came around was the first time I looked at the highest two prizes and saw the paint options for buildings.
Got that one.   But that top one… guess I need one of those super farms.   Just not into that really.  Too intense.

I agree.  I like the farming part ... some space, some decos, some green.  I realized early on that a lot of discontent comes when people focus on what their farms can't do, or compare them with heavy gold spenders.  If I just plod along and watch my farm grow, I'm much happier.  Having said that, I am none-too-patiently waiting for Steve -- I need a barn raisin'.  :)

I wish I could sell my space ships, getting a few in storage now.  Dismantle for parts would be ok as well

[3449428] Artmaker (GB1) [GB1] :: March 20, 2017, 5:15 p.m.
Well I still have lots of available plots to buy.  I think my plan should be buy, move my favorite decor to the outer edges, start parting with less productive pieces (snif.)  And work on more production.   That might be the only way I can make it through these events.  And that will take months.
SO it looks like I"m back to picking low level prizes, breezing through, and just dismantling them.

Ya know… long ago I suggest this and it got poo poo'd.  But I'd love to see yet another farm open up as a "garden center."  NO production at all.   Just put your extra decor in there and wait for visitors to eventually buy it up.   Be not only a way to display it, but make a few extra bucks too.  Maybe even set your own prices and see what moves.  I'm sure there is some way to make a "game" out of that.

Oh well.  I'm not on the design team.  Gotta work with what we're given.

I agree with Artful - just do what you can do in the spare hours that you have, and dress your farms the way you want. I've chosen to build realistic farms coz  I love the graphics, love the challenges and indeed these production farms look horribly boring and wouldn't be my choice either. It all comes down to what you want: to play a game at your own pace, loving some challenges and see how far you can come/achieve something simply on own strength and efforts - or to make everything terrible easy by buying yr way towards full build farms in a very short time and buying your way to the top.

Looking at his farms: Byron forgot to mention 2 other things: being a (big?) gold buyer and able to play many hours per day. That can make a huge difference too.

Found this event no harder than the other weekly events, one week I do level 6 and the next level 5 - don't see a problem with it.

[3449916] Artmaker (GB1) [GB1] :: March 20, 2017, 10:51 p.m.
Well I have to admit, once GG gave us all those extra plots to buy, I should have worked harder to fill them.  So that will be my goal.  Buy up all that land, then start working on more production.   I'll get there eventually.

As for those super farms, what is the happiness level on them?   Doesn't it cost a ton to replant everything?
Though I suppose your selling off a ton too.
Or do you super farmers have to spend gold just to replant all that stuff?   See that's where I draw the line.  My farms are balanced.  Never out of anything. happy happy farmers too.

[3449930] Uncle John (AU1) [AU1] :: March 20, 2017, 11:05 p.m.
Production costs on Main farm are tiny compared to the income from a lvl 6 Shop and if using premium feed and fert they don't increase with reducing happiness. Easier than you think.  :¬)

Well completely and totally off topic now… sometimes getting disgusted with games is a good thing.

My daughter bought me a lathe not long ago.  Been watching videos, buying parts….. today I got my butt busy and tried turned my very first pen.   I've been making them with polymer clay for awhile now but using a lathe and actual wood is a whole new thing.
Didn't come out bad for a very first ever try.   I don't like the finish though.   Still learning.
Here….

That is truly beautiful.
