Are you sure you got a bee from the doghouse? The dog doesn't give bees, they only come from fields. If you do have bees in the doghouse, you may want to get rid of them before they sting your doggie. :D

I have found the bee challenge the most difficult! I have never had good luck with it.  I won 1 time

I don't understand why they aren't getting bees. I only have 2 fields at level 6 rest r at level 5. I only like four more bees to go. Got some with sp cabbage seeds that I planted with humus for deco event. Think they are right about something not right about not getting bees. Hope you get some soon.

I need six more on the US farm and 1 more on the WWW farm.  They come with time and farming.  I got 2 with rice, most with corn.

It came out of the balloon gift thingy you get after feeding him.  I was quite surprised.

A few times a day your dog will give you a gift (level 5,6,7).  It's a little bubble/balloon thing over his house.  I'm sure that's what @artful (US1)  was talking about.

Plant sunflowers! I've never had a problem with the bee lady, because I always plant sunflowers for her. Sunflowers always give bees for me. - Good luck!

Thanks to all of you for your feedback. I had no sunflowers to use. Last evening I planted rice, roses, and violets in 9 fields. Harvested 3 bees. Looks like some of you are having the same problem.

I have gotten some great "gifts" from the my pup after I fed her. Never a bee. That would be awesome.

I have had good results when I have planted sunflowers, but I did not have any to plant. Sad that special seeds have to be used to reach the goal of this event, and even sadder that gold would be required to finish.

Trying corn again today. Have not had any luck with corn recently. When I started last April, I got good results with wildflowers and corn. Not so much as I progressed through the year. Sunflowers always work, but I do not always have sunflowers. Thanks for the advice.

I have always gotten the bee prize usually with a day left not this time and I planted corn special flowers  ect  well this time most i could get was six  something is very different even with planting wheat overnite only one  he77 will freeze over before I would spend gold on this

I always have gotten the bees too, with lots of time to spare. This time I finished, but it took much longer than usual. They have definitely made it more difficult.

In the beginning, I did get all the bees. Just to complete my end of the discussion. I finally had to buy the last 3 bees. Normally wouldn't have. But I needed the rewards because I had used all I had. Thanks for all the input from everyone.

I always wonder how come we need Sunflowers to find bees fast and then the reward are roses.  How come we dont get Sunflowers?

@Wulwina (US1)  You don't need Sunflowers to attract bees.

I've done it all in hours just growing corn, because it's not so long between harvests.
And this time, harvesting 11 fields growing cabbage, I once got 2 bees, and later on got a further 3 bees.

So any method works, as long as you harvest your fields :smiley:

Wulwina (US1)  You probably a new player but for your information:  I agree you do not need Sunflowers but they help a great deal.  If you plant Sunflowers you get one bee for each sunflower you plant.  

Keep it in mind.  sunflowers you have to buy with gold because we  rarely or never get it any other way,
Wouldn't be nicer to get Sunflowers from the bees instead of roses?

As I currently have 164 Sunflower seeds without having ever bought any, there is no shortage of sources.

May I recommend the Hard worker event, the Cooperative Championship, and Monty's Wheel of Fortune as but a few possibilities.
