I am having difficulties now as well. One of my members got like 4 or 5 bees from his flowers, totally random and pretty fast. I got most of mine from corn now and I think 1 from cabbage. Still 5 to go~

Well, that's about it for me. I have 7 bees right now and I'm very tired and about to go to bed.
There is about 13 hours left in the event, but I will be asleep maybe 8 hours leaving me 4-5 hours in the morning to get the last three. Doesn't seem possible at current rate of collection.
It really puts the player at a disadvantage when an event starts when you are sleeping.

got 5 now, normally got 2 from each wheat harvest, now i got 1 and not even everytime from my 6 fields... What happend?

Its strange coursee at my place i got them at the same pace as last time. I dont get any from corn though. Have to plant cabbage or wheat to get them at my place :)I hope you collected all of them by now

Usually I do just fine, some of my co-op members already have them... I have 7 now, not sure if I'm gonna make it with 6 hours left. I got none from wheat this time, while usually I get loads from wheat... Not even other crops are working anymore. Guess I'm gonna have to give up...

it's not about gold. it's about how active are you and what do you plant.
I had 3 times double bee with 5 fields of wheat overnight.
The time is shorter now, but you get bees a lot faster

It is totally random... I have planted all sorts of crops and played quite a lot in the weekend and they just won't bite... Like I said, I had none in wheat (I grow that overnight and in the mornings I just had no bee... Quite frustrating as I did have that with the other two times I did this event).
As for the gold, I agree, it is not about the gold. You just gotta be really lucky to plant exactly the right crop at the right times.

i thought i wouldn't get the bees this time
i needed 3 bees for a while and they didn't come
14 hours nothing and now i got them in 40 minutes

I got all the bees finally after using gold to quicken the corn but had to use hundreds of gold to do so
so don't say its not about gold as I had used none b4 and planted and planted and planted but only 6 bees
its 1am here in Australia and iv been going for 13 hours straight just planting so that proves that been active has nothing to do with it

Yeah, still trying, need 2 more. And no, it is not about gold, it is about luck. Look at my co-op members. They are also active and got them in no-time. I am quite active and still don't have all of them. Last time I also managed without gold and the time before I think I bought one with gold because it was the first time for me (or over all) and I just wanted to have them all to see what happened

I finished easily and im only level 37, 4 fields, three level 3's, one level 4. It is about activity, I got them from cabbage and wheat.

I found all the bees,too, but only 1 in the wheat, the others in the corn and cabbage. I dont know the exact numbers, but I think I had more in the corn than in the cabbage.
I think it's all in the activity and having some luck also. I was away all day yesterday and still found all the bees with about 12 hours left.

I planted over 500 flowers at least and i have nothing. Planted about 200 corn and only got 1 bee. Before I planted some wheat and got 2 from that. After two days I only have 3 bees!! I have been on all day as well! Not in much luck am i?

has nothing to do with activity just look at my post #31

so don't you try and tell everyone that its activity
and I think its up to ggs who they want to get the bees coz it seems like there is a huge gap
coz last time it was on I wasn't even looking for them and got them really easy
and the time b4 that only got 2 after days of no sleep and I bet others have had the same problem
so I think this event needs to be fixed fast b4 the next bee event arrives otherwise there will be a lot
of threads like this one in the future

I agree...there is a spot of luck like in any game and hard work does matter, but push come to shove, for every player who gets gets all their bees from hard work there are scores of others who won't make it and even people who use a small amount of gold may fail...but as in life gold "real money is usually a very big factor. Call me foolish ,but I personal believe 99% of what people post is true in this game. If a player says he did it ALL with hard work they did, if they got 3 bees from 4 fields at one time they did, I think a little less doubting each other and remember it's the GAME not the PLAYERS we should be worried about.
