Had horrible luck with wheat too. Just planting corn now. Get at least 1 out of 5 harvests and sometimes 2 out of 5. Really looks like they decreased the tracks.

If I had only the one farm, I'd be inclined to agree with you, Arrakkamani, but I have two other farms that were doing perfectly well, and finished the task many hours sooner. It's just crap luck.

I got the impression that if you harvest and your barn is already full - you won't get any tracks. Did anyone get any tracks while the barn was full?

hmm i do remember a few posts about that ... My barns are rarely that full though so I don't notice quite so much. I am FINALLY through that stage on both farms now. <WHEW!!>

5 fields, tracks are hard to come by. 2 runs 5 fields with long hour wheat. 40 tracks. nothing with roses so far but only ran about 5 fields worth. WOW

I have collected apples from 7 orchards twice now and received only 10 maps in total so i'm thinking stables, mill, silo, and composter are more reliable.

Yup, I've got 50, so between 1 & 2 an hour. They've never been a serious source of finds - this task is all about the corn to silo process.

To test the find/drop rate I planted my first roses today on my L7 field with super humus to maximise the profit and got 30 from 8 harvests giving about 7.5 per hour which is the same as you get from corn.

I got plenty with full barns — more, in fact, than otherwise, even on my one farm that was getting the tracks so slowly.

apple and cherries orchards a failure for me in this event....for the twigs/sticks it took my 3 cherries 3 runs each and nothing. 3 apples took until the 6th run to get all the sticks. now on map parts cherries have run twice and apples on there 4th run and no map pieces....also had no maps on wheat over night either.....just running mill but storage is full

Silo and composter are good for map pieces as well, and I'm getting them at a good rate on all my stables too.

I'm in step 2 collecting apples. I never finish them at all because somebody in GGS did not put these tasks for 20 days so I can finish them. But I didn't finish them. But I was almost finish my Christmas tree though. I was in the 400 hundreds though. I was so mad when the time just ended. So that's why I didn't gotten my Christmas Tree at all. That means I have to wait until it comes again about 10 months. That is a really a bomber for me.

If you mean the sticks, they are in orchards. I think you came in too late for this event Next time you can prepare by checking the spreadsheets from the start so you know what's up and coming. I am guessing the next event will be fairy tale time, but not sure as GGS always fools us ^^
