Hi ss02092, thanks for gathering this info, it's very helpful. I'm on the level 43 and my tasks (I'm doing the 4th one now) are the same as for levels 30-39 in your list.

Silo is giving 3 per piece. Almost half way there :)

composter 5 per piece. That is all the info I have on map pieces.

Happy camping.

Wheat gets 20 map pieces per field.

I still haven't gotten a single piece from any of my orchards, not even cherries. :-/

Does someone know how much of what must be donated in the last step?

If you check the first post in this thread, it is all specified there ;)

Not really sure how it's possible to complete this in time without using gold. With my level 2 windmill, it would have to be running flat out for almost a day just to produce the 16 cow feed, never mind the pig and chicken feed.

It takes a lot of time with a lvl2 windmill, try to do chicken and pig feed first during the day and left cow feed at last and running at night, the task will be complete as soon as you start the last group of feed not when it finishes. Besides the cowfeed at the end will also give you pieces of map for the next task.
In my opinion, even when the windmill upgrades take a lot of savings and some workers, it is completely worthy to do them as soon as possible. They save a lot of time and products too. And are very handy to complete challenges like this. Good luck cheryl. We still have some more days to finish and if you ran out of time, you will be given a second chance.

It's not the cost of the upgrade that puts me off, but rather the very long length of time it takes to complete, during which I can't produce any feed to keep the farm running. It essentially means the game is knocked out for the best part of a day.

I only have a level 2 windmill also and had to run a few bags of cow feed during the day (I only had to get 14). I was able to get it done but that task took 2 days. The rest hasn't been as bad. In terms of upgrading the mill, I plan on doing mine this weekend (I am not on much on the weekends), but 18 hrs is a long time and takes some planning. Good luck and I hope you can complete all of the tasks cherly3 :)

Not getting any tracks from cabbages nor the corn just the wheat I had :l I take it that's its random like the bees were?

[693185] ElizabethK [None] :: May 24, 2013, 7:58 p.m.
Yes, it is random :)

Yes, it is random. Roses gave 10 paws, cabbages 3, corn/wild flower 1, wheat 20. Growing lots and lots of corn helps. Also if you have roses it may work. Cabbage was not good for me at all. Hope you can find them soon.

Start it the night before a day you plan to be out doing something else. Or, just bite the bullet and plan to twiddle your thumbs the day you upgrade. Also, upgrading the farmhouse first will cut down on the time to upgrade the mill. That knocked my time down from 19 or 20 hours to just 16 or so.

Honestly, the difference between the level 2 and level 3 mill is like day and night. Being able to get ahead on feed production? SO. WORTH. IT! Besides, if you're already going flat out to keep up with your animals, you will not be able to add any more of them, and thus you will not be able to add any more orchards either.

Upgrading to level 4 is better, since you'll have the capability of stocking up in advance (unless you've already added too much livestock before you get there). You should be able to manage several hours, even if it isn't enough to cover the whole time the mill's down.

A word of warning though is that I wouldn't rely on the second chance, it could easily cost gold to get (unless someone has already said it won't)
