and thanks for collecting and publishing the task info so that I could plan ahead - I was concerned that I was getting drawn into something that I couldn't complete, but I discovered that I could complete it and did so in 5 days, and for one of which I was out all day. The other days I was in and out, as I work from home.
Final deco tally is 12 thickets, 1 camp, 1 bridge on my main farm and 5 thickets, 1 camp and 2 bridges on my new gourmet farm.
Main farm spec -
6 L2 fields
3 L1 & 2 L2 coops
1 L1 sty
4 L1 byres
L2 silo
L4 mill
L2 composter
Happiness cost discount was about 50% at the start and is now 87%, but the funny thing is, replacing all these decos has given me the sneaking suspicion that 50% is probably about the optimum in terms of space used and cost.

Me too completed. No gold at all...
I have build 24 camps and 3log bridges.
My farm now has -100% running cost and gourmet farm has approx -75% running cost.

yeah Daytona, with proper planning we are able to complete without any gold/minimum gold usage.
I have just 1 apple orchard and 1 cherry orchard in my farm.
For the first task it took lot of time, mostly havests at that time bought none firewood. For the entire first day i was build the decors only.
Next day morn I had some extra happiness so added a L1 house and an apple orchard (Both of which i removed by the end of second task, to equalize fetilizer production and consumption & to increase happiness).
Simliarly for the 4th i kept cow feeds at night and last, While working on the track collection i made sure i have sufficient grains for this.
for 5th i used corn production and chick feed production. Its used for the 6th task.
Thought i was out for 2days, i was able to finish with proper planning. On the off days i got very very less tracks and maps from wheat growth and cow feed production.
By proper planning this event was able to complete around 4 days with no/minimum gold.

Neema... the aplle task was to donate the apples... HAve you donated them. There will be a hand button you need to click on that and donate.
I think you misunderstood and simply collected the apples.

Yeah, losing the 700-odd gold was bad enough, but losing the sense of achievement was worse.Oh, no, not you as well
I did that some too, because I sell my eggs and apples automatically, since every apple harvest is more than my barns hold (three orchards), and the eggs overflow them every third harvest. It's muscle-memory. Ditto the way I keep planting cabbage instead of corn and vice versa, depending on whether I've just scored some rose seeds, or just finished sowing the last of them.Hehe I did that too ! It's funny - or is it worrying ?! - how we operated the game almost subconsciously which is great when we have to do the same things over again, but disasterous when things change !

Just looking to see if the tasks are the same as the first event, as I took some screen captures as memtos, and the map and the individual task symbols are the same, as are the first task requirements and reward.
