Due to spam, GGS have stopped displaying images from external photo sites in posts, instead, a link to the photo is displayed instead. Pictures uploaded as attachments on forum posts are displaying as thumbnails (small size pictures) - clicking them shows the large size picture.

Guys, you should still be able to post them via the attachment system. Other than that, you can post them as you would normally with the IMG tags, and we can manually open up the link to see the picture if it's posted on a picture hosting site.
Please don't be discouraged - it's a bit of inconvenience, but I'd still love to see your entries so post away still!

Firstly, please accept my apologies on behalf of Goodgame Studios for the problems on the forum lately. Unfrotunately there are some out there who seek simply to harm others with what they consider to be a sense of humour.
Secondly, posting of images has been disabled until further notice. I urge you NOT to click on any links that are posted by anyone expect for myself, Latten, Nafaru or the moderators until the matter is resolved. We will be investigating and reporting this issue to the authorities to take legal action is it continues.

Hey Monica, it's not a problem to be confused by this - it's something that's been done on the run so to speak to try and minimise the damage a bit.
People are still welcome to post links to pictures for the competition. I don't have a problem checking out the links that people post.
It's not a good idea however for members to be clicking on them themselves unless they know the person/account that posted the links. This is just until the spamming problem is resolved.
Until then, people are still welcome to post their pictures either way that I suggested in my previous post so they can continue to enter the competition.

Sorry Monica, I propagated inaccurate information, Malreyn & Ethan have since made better explanations in some of the other threads on the subject, hopefully they will change the official announcement. As ever, Kat's explanation is the best.
