The Divisions Ranking in the Farmer League was supposed to be a competition with players at similar levels.

But what are you matched against?

I can never catch up with players at level 968, 445, 951, 526, 907, 927, 351 and 666 when I myself am only at lvl. 234

In the first event of a new Farmer's League you get matched with players at your level.
Thereafter you get matched with folks who placed similar to you in the previous event, so if you won 3 gold medals in the first event, you get matched with other folks who won 3 gold medals, irrespective of their level.
And for each consequent event you get matched up based on how you performed in the previous event - so high ranked players are matched with other high ranked players, no matter their level.
It can be disheartening, but not much one can do about it.

Whole idea of Farmer's League are those tittles, not medals. In the league, you are with the same title holders. And the league ranking comes according to the titles earned. Titles are affected by how you perform at the event and you can also influence it a little bit. If you are a dairy farmer, for example, the more milk you collect, the faster you will get a new title, but the amount you collect is large. In the league, you should not look at other people's rankings, but focus on your own performance and try to earn new titles.
