Topic: [219142] Who thinks if we buy something in game with Gold we should be able to keep it permanently?

If we buy something in game with Gold such as library books in Tessa's Dream world or in Greta's Dream World do you think we should be able to keep it and have it carry over to the next time Dream World comes around?The library books we buy on the main farms are permanent so why shouldn't it be the same for the Dream Worlds?

@Boss_Hog (US1) I understand what you're saying but both Dream Worlds are temp farms. As far as library books or anything else bought with gold on a temp farm, it's up to the player to decide if the advantage they give is worth the cost.

Then why do we get to keep the library books we purchase on all the other temp farms?All the 30 day temp farm library books are permanent.

@Boss_Hog (US1)  My apologies, I was clearly mistaken. So the Dream Worlds are a different kind of temp farm. Got it.👍

The Dream Worlds are on a different server. I think I heard once, they used the old test server for the DWs, but I could be mistaken on that. That might have something to do with why everything resets each time a DW event ends?  I do know they have limited capability of sending something from DW to reg farms - they're not connected on the same server like the 30-day temps farms are.
Apologies, but I don't understand the computer/programming side of the game much, so I don't know how to explain this really. Maybe someone else can help with that - just sharing what I remember hearing in the past on this & hope it might help.

But yes, it would be nice if they would stay from event to event.

For temp farms you are on the same server as your standard farms.

A different server is used for DW's  so it can be global.

There shouldn't be any problem with the library books being carried over from 1 Tessa's or Greta's to the next Tessa's or Greta's.You are not moving anything from the dream world to your main farms or the other way around.Once you buy something using Gold it is supposed to be yours forever.Why should we have to keep on paying for the same thing every time we play dream world?I understand that farm dollars along with all the other currencies in BF including those in the 30 day temp farms might not be carried over to your main farms or only available through a trader or something similar but when we spend Gold which cost real life money it is supposed to be carried over to next event or be made permanent.

To be clear I want everybody to know I am only talking about library books purchased using Gold such as level 2 library books in Tessa's not level 1 which only requires farm dollars.
