Congratulations GGE I didn't think you could make this event any worse but you have...  There are hardly any city states now and it seems way less cult towers too. 
There is just nothing to do there now, Even the big ruby spenders are searching for influence going as far as hitting players as the city returns...

Typical I must say that you change things without any prior notification..

this version of horizons with scartered states and no regens makes it almost impossible for the small rubie buyers like my self we have 2 allainces with total of 32 members and no states this meand at last reset we cannot defend against mass hits from the hugh allainces mass=50+ hits as no coinf for defense troops. as well as no way to gain inf for last day

as theres no daily rewards and the individule rewards are for the big spenders means there nothing to do in horizons except for very last day so members join and dont come back till last day

the grouped states work much better for the big spenders as well as the small spenders as then theres a chance of small allainces with small spenders getting rewards 

the gig spenders derserve the top spots but let not forget about the small spenders that get to low lv and have to try to beat lv70+ attackers from very 1st day as they wont hit other big spenders from what i see they just farm the small ones i may be wrong on this but i see the big allainces from different servs have packs with the other big allainces exp only rawside(german) ans misc(usa)

i see no answers posted to any of the questions from 2019, but here is my 2/16/2020 question any way.  at the end of the event 330 pm PST, our alliance was ranked 743 with 2.5 hours left on the event clock. We were still receiving and defending against attacks up until 5:55 pm and our alliance rank in the event climbed up to 505. I understand that any influence gained ( city states ,PVP) after the points are collected on the final day does not count toward your final alliance event total and rank. Does it still count for individual rank competition? Do any attack losses during the 2.5 hours after point collection raise or lower your alliance rank?, as ours was rising from 743 to 505 with repeated successful defenses of attacks on our capital.  Is this additional 2.5 hours completely useless with regards to rank, both alliance and individual, and if so why is it even running?  If anyone on here or US1 know the answer to this , can you please post it or message me the information. Thank You

I will not be returning to this event. If you are not in the top 500, you get nothing. Most players can't monitor their castles 24/7 and hold off against successive attacks by the same player/alliance.  Although I did enjoy taking 1500 attackers in four attacks from a player who decided he wanted my influence just 2 minutes after the city-state disappeared.  The highest we got was 252 and then players kept attacking our capital that was 6 hours from me.  It was impossible to defend and we ended up in the 700's and got nothing for the time we put in.  It was a BIG waste of time and money.

It does count toward the final alliance event total and rank.
If your alliance is still in the top 1000 at the very end, you can find the final score and final rank in the popup after the event showing your rewards.
For example, my alliance was ranking between 400 and 500 with around 520k influence when the points were collected 2.5 hours before the event ended, then ranking around 380 still with around 520k influence one second before the event ended, and the final rank turned out to be rank 412 with around 720k influence after the event ended, according to the rewards popup.

Has anyone received the rewards for BTH that ended on Feb 16, 2020?  My alliance ranked in the top 1k and have not received anything yet.

Usually the rewards show up within an hour or so, but it's been over 12 hours and nothing.

.My mob got any rewards either sal and I know we were 677 or 700ish.

Rewards have been issued, did you get the pop up in your main account to say you finished top 1k??

The rankings in the game mean nothing at the end as they are not real time for what players have grabbed the last 2.5 hours.

For the last BTH event which ended Feb 16th, we have not received any rewards..  So what gives GGE?   It's clear by the above that we were in the top 1k at the end and I know for a fact that we had no incoming attacks during the last 2 minutes of the event.

The final total for the BtH Event is taken at 00:00.  They ADD IN the individual influence for each member of the Alliance at 00:00.  Basically, a final influence transfer occurs.  

No one gets to see these final numbers.  We just get to trust them to give it out correctly...…….

We also have not got the rewards for the last Horizon event. We finished around 750th. Then I defended the Capital and watched us climb in the standings as crews ahead of us were getting wacked and dropping while We held on to every single point by not losing a single battle.

 As a result of that effort, we rose to within the top 600 at the very end. The event ended, I got the rubies from my acct minutes later, Cool! But since then absolutely nothing. No Popup with our final stats etc. No crafting materials added to existing stock. Nothing. Should I even bother going to Outers this round if rewards are not awarded? I certainly will not be doing Horizon any more unless we get what we earned......

Thank You for your input Wiglema, From your post, im guessing that your final alliance rank was 412. It did not go up to the 380 that you saw briefly before the events end. Ours did not climb to 505 from 743 when we were finally compensated it was for 743. I noticed that your alliances influence earned went up 200,000 points, so that still makes me wonder if the individual influence rankings are still in play for the final 2.5 hours. I;m still leaving the question open as i have teammates that were in the running to receive additional rewards from the individual contest.  I'm hoping to get a good answer to help them. thanks all

Our ranking did go up to 380 (from around 450 at 2.5 hours before the end), because our defense was strong enough and many other alliances with weaker defense in their capitals lost points and dropped in the ranking. At event end our rank dropped to 412 after all the individual points from the final 2.5 hours were added. In our case I think we collected those 200k from two city states. Apparently other alliances near our ranking collected more than 200k in the final 2.5 hours, causing our rank to drop a bit. Perhaps if we had collected 300k, we would have stayed in the top 400 ranks. It's impossible to tell, because the final ranking tables were never published.

There are basically two possible explanations for an alliance's rank to drop in the final ranking.
First, successful attacks on the capital remove influence points, causing direct loss of ranking. (Immediately visible in the ranking table.)
Second, members in other alliances gaining more influence in the final 2.5 hours, which is being added to the alliance total at the end of the event, causing those other alliances to climb in the final ranking and alliances whose members collected less influence in the final 2.5 hours to drop in the final ranking. (Invisible.)
