I've been running on FLASH for better speed. Recently GGE began forcing Outer Realm and Storm Islands to be in HTML5. Storm Islands has crashed on me every day since then! Sometimes multiple times per day. And its slower. Please remove this restriction until the actual cut-off date. Don't add more lands to the restriction. Fix the problems, increase the speed before then.

It's fairly obvious to me now the problem is keeping this as a browser game.That was probably a good idea 20 years ago. But it shouldn't take more than a few days to make it into a downloadable version. Then all players would be running it exactly the same. The difference in browsers is quite ridiculous. Beyond that, there is something fundamentally wrong with the way this game works. Literally nothing happens on our screens so it should be lightning fast at all times.

So, they now have an HTML Specific survey going on. I have one small question for you:
What the "Apple" "Banana" "Cumquat" difference does it make if I have purchased RUBIES? This is about if HTML is working for me. (It IS by the way) I know he answer, it just is so frustrating.
IF I have not bought rubies, then I may not have the disposable income to buy a 'better' system and they can claim THAT is why HTLM isn't working for me. However, IF I buy rubies, they can check on HOW MUCH I spend and then figure that I CAN buy a 'better' system and likely have already. SO if I am having issues, they will want to research it more closely.
Such a disingenuous bunch of "Banana" eaters...….

I have 3 computers with a combined 6 browsers, Chrome, Firdfox, Opera, Ice Cat, Classic 64, and Firefox w/Tor, everyone of these browsers has the same problem, I play in the USA server as a leader of an alliance, during the preparation for an up-coming attack every browser chashed ... Now i am on IPadScandy (GB1) said:It is so laggy it is close to unplayable.
In the castle i can move around fairly normally and do stuff but on the world map it takes forever to do anything, the mouse doesn't want to go where i want it to
If the main game also becomes HTML5 only i will quit the game.
And yes i have the newest version of Chrome and the newest version of Safari and neither work well

HTML is going to ruin this game. Many many players are having problems. It seems that many will have to quit--not because they want to but because it seems impossible to play efficiently.

LOL, we all know the answer to this already. They only care about ruby buyers, we see that so much in the game already how the balance hus swung too far in favour of them. Pretty much any event victory can be bought if you spend enough, not just buying an advantage.
The inference is - if you are a ruby buyer and your have HTML5 problems, we will take it seriously. If you are not a ruby buyer we don't really care.

It is not important if you are paying for something or not. It is a game and a game have to work.
No problem if a game crash on a old computer once in a hour. but for a lot of players html is crashing several times in a hour.
Not on the enquete but for me on my modern laptop it also crashing a lot when is make in the smitty purple or orange weaponry instead of green or purple ones. So back to flash when there is a event of making weapons or crash 20x in a hour.
modern laptop Intel core i3, windows 10 with all the latest updates. and yes I spend money and can affort a modern laptop but I prefer playing game on my older pc but almost impossible to do on tml5

So yesterday I started getting HTML lag more like others have been talking about. When trying to set up attacks it would crash. Using the slow down to time attacks was HORRIBLY SLOW. During incomings, trying to change Def setup would also lag and/or crash. Yes, I don't often have 9 hits out bound and another 3 incoming, but this game used to be able to handle that situation.
Now, it makes it very difficult to PvP…...…..

biggest problems still in html5 are that it is very slow and it doesnt register all the mouse clicks.
