Basically they announced a server downtime for this afternoon (finished already, I guess).
Update contents:
* Changes in the rewards for the month event.
* Introduction of different difficulty levels for events (like it was on the test server recently).

Several players in my alliance have noticed the market barrows have decrease in size also. Mine were maxed at 42,105 but now are at 41,580.

Seems there are some bugs in recent update. cant attack foreign lord castles it showing error like "more troops in one flank and asking to remove troops". But i have filled manually and didnt change commander. its giving the error msg even when we use autofill. whats the point of update when you get good target but cant attack.. Same problem here. Cannot use glory banners in attacks against foreign lords. Everyone in my alliance is noticing the new foreign targets in the intermediate levels are not giving out nearly as much glory as the old style. I've consistently got 7000 defenders, which are stronger troops than previously, using 8% glory flags and barely getting 1 million glory. I should be close to 1.5-1.75 comparerd to previous targets. Why so much less glory. It's stronger targets, we lose more troops, why less glory?

why ARE we loosing so many guys wen playing intermediat i use to hit 8k target whit way better and stronger defens and guys in it whit out loosing so many guys ? and got way better glory . also why is there only 5 page off rewards whit smaller rewards in it ? then the alliance rewards as lots off page but rewards are so small that i start to thank that it might not be that worth my time and money . then on the sale super sale tab as only 3 option why is that ? and where are the smaller sale option in order to get tickets for the weel off influance whit out bying $ 100 sale package ?

This latest update has made it too difficult for foreign castle attacks even a low level 39 had over 2500 troops when you have only can send say 600 troops and tools you will lose all so not even worth fighting these foreign castles

I think that along the line the whole issue of the FC and Crows event has been somewhat mixed up and confused.
Most of this has been pounced on by GGE who are once again using it to exploit an event for more profit.
For some new players complaining, my explanation to them is that these 2 events have always been about glory, getting the most glory has always been the purpose for most in the event. To this end at the start even new low players would send lower value troops on attacks, and maximise as many flags as they could in order to get glory, they wouldn't worry about losses as at that time the troops were made not bought, and now that has changed.
Its been said that the players themselves wanted stronger castles, and this is not strictly true. What they were calling for was more defensive troops. Not changes to castles, or Casts.
The reason was that not so long ago the main easely aquired glory flag and the one that most players wanted and then used on good targets were Horsetails at 5% glory. For a long time these were the that provided decent glory for most players. The trouble was that GGE in the race for money decided to add higher value glory flags to the list, of course for a price. This in turn changed the these events around and so GGE then had to reduce the glory on most target castles, this they did by reducing the number and type of troops per target castle, meaning that once again the low spenders and F2P players slid back down the ladder to what was called the grind, to achieve decent glory its what they had to do.
Obviously GGE had many complaints about this, but couldn't very well tahe the flags away from the ruby buyers, and so came up with this new update. The trouble is that yes they have made the castles stonger, but it still only favours the buyers and no on else. I have tried the intermediatory level in various formats, and found that using made troops would most of the time lead to defeats, and with hardly any glory compared to what the event was prior to the update.
By using horror troops (not bought), and putting in 6% flags from the smith, I can win a castle, but only for around 400-500k glory, when before the update it would have been around the 800-1m glory, so yes its been changed, and not for the good. The event Casts are stronger, normally the exception being in the courtyard, and you have to concentrate on winning all 3 walls if you only have up to 5 waves, especially if you want troops to return.
Overall I think its been changed to make most players use more troops and tools, and as most of these issues involve the F2P and the low spenders, its not a good update for them. I also think but not sure that its probably not an good update for buyers either, as they will be using better flags higher troops and tools, but for a lot less glory, so not a good update, and will lose more eventers from the event.

In case you all haven't noticed, one of the reasons for the loss of more troops on each attack is that there are now tools on all waves. Though I'm not sure why the glory tally is lower, since traditionally, higher kill rates meant higher glory.
Not sure whether I like it or not. Troops ran out after a few attacks so really haven't given it the best go yet. Definitely noticed the lower rewards though, and don't really like that.
Finally decided to put in a ticket to support about the lower market barrow transport capacity over the weekend. Said I would get an email to confirm it. Didn't. In fact haven't heard anything about it at all. Anyway. maybe I will get a response soon. One can always hope....

With regard to the FI/BC update I like the idea about being able to select of castle and not having to hit 100s of pointless castes to get one worth hitting and anyone can now choose how difficult they want to play this event but yes a little disappointed that the glory return seems to have changed from the original format. However, all things said this is a more enjoyable format

Hey Poseidon.
