How do we get rid of him and get another. He's gone for good. What do we do.

When he's account got deleted (after being in ruin for a while), the leader position will automatically transferred randomly to next in ranks.
So if you have 2 deputies, it will be randomly pick 1 of 2. If no deputy, then most likely next in rank is war marshall. not quite sure exactly the ranking, but may be as it's listed ranking assignment list.

Good grief that's the same situation i'm in... if he dont log on soon Im gonna find another Alliance, Sure as hell not gonna be waiting around for a month/ish ..uugh

Leave and find a new alliance, what if your leader comes back but goes inactive again? That's quite a lot of time wasted in waiting only. Since you are on the USA server, finding a new alliance shouldn't be a problem for you as there are several hundreds of them which could fit you

couple years back the leader of the alliance I was in quite the game , with no way to remove him we had to have other alliances continually attack him until his castle finally left the game . If I remember correctly it took more than a month before his castle left the board .

After several weeks not logging in (black dot), it will fall into ruin. How long it stays in ruin, depend on his level and whether he has ever bought ruby or not. A lvl 70 who bought ruby, unfortunately may stay in ruin for over 2 months, if not even 3. Attacking his castle absolutely has no bearing in this matter what so ever.

falling to ruins is dependent on level (its days = level +1 or something like that). about 60 members in that alliance beg to differ with your point ...the common thought at that time was that continual attacks forced him into ruin faster ., I do know he was gone in a very short time .

true that falling to ruins seems to related to level, but not level + 1 or something. a level 70 will go to ruin long before even 70 days. Long time ago (like 4Y or more) the ruin period used to be your level + 1 day (however GGS at that time refused to confirms this in various occasion), however it did got changed. Still depend on your level and whether that player ever buy ruby or not. This was communicated in the update announcement looooong time ago.

I can only offer what transpired with ( us ) those 3 years back or so , It happened to be Excalibur deltas , when the leader Saint22 quit playing all of us to a player decided to stay and weather the storm the deltas were a great allaince back then . Jacarco was the main alliance leader as the deltas were a sub . What transpired was all the subs disalligned from the deltas and went to war against us and attacked saint22 around the clock until he went to ruins , Including strikeforce and Paradigms as the delta family was part of them also . So somewhere upward of 200 attacks per week for about 3-4 weeks until Saint22 went to ruins .
it doesn't matters how many attack per week, per day or per min. You leader would have gone to ruins anyhow at the same exact time, regardless, even if no body ever attack him at all. What matters is how long has he NOT been logging in. Everytime you logged out, the timer start and reset when you logged in again. How long the timer is based on the players level, as I believe lower level would have gone to ruin faster then higher level.
Once the players goes to ruin, another timer start, and if he doesn't logged in until the timer expired, his account will be deleted. This timer is different that going to ruin timer and unless it changed again, this depends on your level and whether the player has ever bought ruby or not. This what got communicated by GGS officially a few years back.

LOL, you just a kind of person that can't admit that you're wrong. Look back all your responses to me, you stated clearly that some one will go ruin FASTER because he got attacked over and over again. you can't....
it's his account that is leader, not his castles.... so being in ruins doesn't matter.
