How much granaries should you have in each castle? and at what level should they be upgraded? to solve the food problem.
Thank you and regards guys.

Food production is one of the keys to the game.  More food, more troops whether offense or

defense.   I kept 16 as I grew towards 70 level, backed off to 12 as I increased food production

through other means (Flour mill,  boosters, etc.)  That was in MC.   OP's and outworlds

not as many 'til after reaching 70 have increased since then, mostly to store defenders which

can be moved to Green in time of need, or attackers to move to Green in time of need

such as BC/FI, etc.

the number depends on your PO

[4886843] joseph grima (INT1) [INT1] :: Dec. 20, 2017, 4:25 p.m.
my PO is 275%

Depends on your PO also depends on how many of the food items you can construct.  So it will vary depending on where you are in your game.

Easy way to test check your food, make a note of the production level, now remove a standard size PO item, and check your food production again.  How much has it decreased ?

will you produce more food by adding 2 graneries than u lost by the reduction in PO.  If the answer is NO, then what about if you added 2 level 10 food items in those graneries??  And do you have the construction material to do that?

The reality is eventually assuming you have  construction bits you probably gonna need 20+ in normal castles, and 26+ in an 8 food op.   But the exact amount will vary from player to player.

Anymore good advises?

Go with what you need. I make a little over 10k food per hour with 23 grains. If you have the build items for it I'd say you should have at least 18. And I upgrade mine whenever I need the food, if I'm getting to be more than 5k negative as a usual thing, then I upgrade my top ones. I usually just work on my HoL and let the build items upgrade the food per hour though. And if you wanna solve the food problem, work on build items and PO too.

And just know it won't solve the food problem, at least for me, I worked a ton on food and when I brought it up the only difference was having more troops.

You guys are giving advice like it's 2014. The game has moved beyond, hahaha.

19 in main, 20 if you are in a top 20 alliance and have it fully decoed out with the top 20 decos or better.

according to @DHDF22 (US1) I think, optimal food production is with 21 granaries in main.
Top 6 workload with base food build items, next 15 with regular food build items.
I'm at 16 right now, but will be putting up another one when I get enough nomad medals (or whatever they're called) for a lvl 7 base food item. And again. And again. Until I reach that.

I've seen some people with 30 granaries in an OP and I was like ??? until I thought of the build items lol

20 for most as said because you need very high p.o. for 21 to be worth it.

No and no.

Look, to figure out how many base widgets you need, figure out how much food you're getting from a deco. When you're sticking base widgets onto granaries, find out the lowest percentage granary you can stick them onto that matches your deco value, and that's how many you need.

Or just count the number of granaries for players who know how to do this :-p

Or just ...
... quit. Not really worth to chase those, when you know someone got those "free" at no time.
