How can troops eat whilst I'm offline yet nothing is produced?? Guess it is to make Goodgame BIG BUCKS!! under this scenario this game is NOT free as advertised as one would not be able to partake within a very short while of starting it if no rubies are purchased!! further why do I also lose a large amount of rubies when offline as well??? basically we are all being fleeced.

Because then one could keep endless troops and I'd be unbalanced , managing food while offline and planing ahead is a strategic part of the game.

what are you talking about.
food is continually produced while offline (unless the servers are down for an update--in which case your troops also don't eat food), you don't need to purchase rubies (I am proof--never spent a penny).

However I do not know why your ruby count is dropping while you are offline. Perhaps you are accidentally spending them without realizing.

To be fair, we all are being fleeced--weather out of our money, or our time, or both.
