On my Recruitment page I can not load soldiers each one is a faded gray color and has the words slower stamped over them  does anyone know why this would happen   Same with the Siege and Defense Tools

i have discovered the reason for this  -  seems that when you go under protection you can not recruit warriors, produce seige or defense tools at the normal speed - everything is at like quadruple the time that is normal  -  and nobody tells you this before you go under protection

When i went under protectedmode during a holliday i deed know this, i read several message's on the forum about it. 

But why need to produce soldiers under protected mode? Better to keep you grain needings as low as possible.

Or maybe, pissed somebody of, and want to reinforce  under protectedmode? That is not where it ment for. ;-)

No, it does say that troop recruitment times will be drastically increased. Read the text.
