what did happen with the alliance city event.
its over 1 year since the last time I saw the event did it die or is it just forgotten?

It was taken down for some reason

They have to 'fix' it before it goes back up, which probably means a rebalance

They've mentioned vague plans in the future but I wouldn't hold my breath for its return

FastMikePlayer I hear they are "trying to figure out how to compensate players" aka they probably won't.
