[-355307] PHIXONIC GAMER (IN1) [IN1] :: July 28, 2018, 7:54 a.m.
Hi Guys
I would like you to name a 65 member alliance which consists of the 65 best players who have played this game.
They can include now-inactive accounts, players who have handed over their accounts, and players who have now left the game.
They can be from any server.

The list can also include banned players.
Don't forget to mention the server from which the player is playing/has played.

I'm pretty convinced no-one knows all the servers over the last 7 years well enough to answer this.

The fury's blade standing is a pretty good proxy of who you might want to include from this year at least :)

However, there must be a best player of all time
Now, don't judge me too harshly, I have played this game only for 1.5 years and been on the forum for much less than that, but in my opinion, the best player of all time is
RUDI-MR

Players* more than one person that account which is why of I did a list only people whole play/played by ToS would be on it.

Must there, really? How would you define this?

Are you picking the person who has the most might? Quite a few people have broken the 3 million might mark, albeit only for short periods as they find targets to kill off the horrors that were bought to get there? Lots of money spent sure, and they could be great players, but they could just as easily be just very bad players with lots of money.

How about biggest event scores? People who are routinely invincible and can be seen to "carry" the majority of an alliance's performance in an event? Again, this is down to buying enormous numbers of booster tools alongside buying the rubies to activate points boosters.... could be great players, could be bad players, who's to know?

How about those who number crunch spreadsheets in the background and develop fairly intricate and accurate advice on how many granaries go in a castle for optimum food production, or a utility that allows you to quickly get a "best" defence setup based on an incoming attack by analysing the likely tool breakdown of a visible incoming. Good game mechanic sense, good programming (or at least transferring the idea onto something usable), but largely these will be people you never hear about, and certainly wouldn't necessarily be on any leaderboards.

What about those who run 300m+ loot scores on a week, they must be great right? Again, this just means they're on the game a lot. I have no problem pulling 10mill loot out in an hour and a half of work, but that's probably me done for the day because of real life. People who can dedicate more time to the game than others will always do better on the scoreboard, but aren't necessarily better players.

What about people who have gained a reputation in their alliance or alliance family for being able to successfully co-ordinate defenses to incoming mass attacks. I was in an alliance where the co-ordinator successfully kept track of over 120 incomings landing in a 15 minute window, and managed to succesfully defend over 90 of them, with about 20 deliberately left completely alone as undefendable, and only "messed up" and mis calculated 4 or 5. Masses of effort working out which attacks had been supported, which hadn't, and allocating the right amount of support to each to people in chat. Doesn't necessarily mean good game skills, but hella hard work and required a large number of snap decisions consistently over 40 minutes of horns popping.

Defining the best player of this game is like defining the best apple. Everyone has an opinion, but turning it into something objective and concrete? Good luck with that.... I know people like heroes, but this is reality - there are lots of people who are very competent at understanding the mechanics in this game, lots of people who love throwing vast sums of money into events that support the game, people who hate being the focus of attention but still contribute masses to the theory in the game - and this includes people on servers who have no grasp of the English language who neither of us will ever have heard of.

That was very, very, very well said and I agree 100%... You got my respect! lol

In my oppinion it would be very hard to pick the best player or 65 players. anyone could be the best player if you throw enogh money at . THE FURY'S BLADE.  for instance to win it you had to thro a crap load of money at . also methinks to do what they did you needed a tag team to get that many points over a series of events which would violate the T and C.

Might points again if you throw money at it do not make you the best player . The best player is the one that made the most of what he acquired through the game. to be the Best at Attacking , and more importatly Defending knowledge of the Game. .  And to achieve most thing in the game .

im laughing because everyone know those with the unbelievable loot scores are using bots and the winner of the fury blade was obviously setup hits against known opponents to increase the score.   are you really that gullible?

There are many players across all servers who do certain things well.  Those that can do it without padding gge's pocketbook are the best in my opinion.

I can't speak for other servers, but I know a couple of the best placed UK players well enough to know that they don't use bots. Capable of shelling out top dollar for boosts and then living on the game for a week? Sure, but that's not cheating, just ... erm ... dedication?

In seriousness though, if you're talking about a top 65 strong alliance, then people who are max level, crazy active, spend plenty and are willing to answer a phone at 4am to go defend some incoming or other is probably the best proxy of strongest alliances. Not very relevant to "most skilled player", but those are the peeps who perform the best on pretty much all of the game's metrics, and for obvious reasons.
