Is the Fortune of the Desert Sands commander with the 30% cooldown going to be similar to the Nutcracker? We know what happened with the Nutcracker. Despite having a 50% cooldown it only applied to towers and rb castles.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                            Despite being a lot faster at 80% maximum, similar bonuses for wall and gate protection, and 20% more courtyard the overall stats are weaker than the Nutcracker as well at 30% for both flanks and middle with 10% less for middle and 10% less for flanks, smaller looting bonus, 15% less for ranged, 90% instead of 100% for melee, and 20% less cooldown. If this new reworked commander were to go in the same direction as the Nutcracker that would mean that the only thing that commander has a real advantage over the Nutcracker is speed, but also have disadvantages in a lot of other areas. I think that the original Sand Sorceress commander was also better than this new commander as well. I also think this new commander is a joke and especially if the 30% cooldown is only going to apply to rb castles and towers. At least the 50% cooldown was more reasonable despite applying to only towers and rb castles.

The difference in speed is 25 between both commanders of 80% vs. 55% at maximum level, but when you consider the various other disadvantages and the fact that the Elephant Cult is another speedy commander with a front bonus for NPC that is something to consider as well. Also, a 30% cooldown if it were to apply to all NPC I think would be quite reasonable and perhaps may make the commander more useful than even the Nutcracker. Now there is a Nomad Invasion and Kahn's Revenge commander who specializes in cooldowns for Kahn Camps and Nomad Camps and you can also buy time skips for rubies now instead of having to spend money, but still at least in my opinion I think that 30% is low enough that it could perhaps be used on other targets besides just robber baron and towers.

Maybe not, but funny thing is that I have seen people complain before about the Nutcracker Warrior and now we get something that may be even worse than the Nutcracker Warrior. I have actually used the Nutcracker warrior a lot now. Especially on towers and rb castles, but it also has a much higher cooldown, flanks, middle, melee, and especially ranged than this commander like what I had pointed out earlier. (Also has a little bit more of a looting bonus.) Overall, this new commander may prove to be a downgrade from the original Sand Sorceress. Also, worse than the Nutcracker unless if you like to hit towers and rb castles from a long distance away.

I just noticed the commander has 50% courtyard and not 40% after noticing I did the math wrong which could help make up for the lower melee and ranged bonuses. But still noticeably weaker in some areas. Especially for ranged and cooldown. Plus, I also noticed the set does not start with 90/90 like the Nutcracker set.
