Dear All,
I have been playing this game on my current account on GB 1 server for about 5 weeks now and I am currently Level 35. Ideally I should be moving at a faster pace than this. Does any experienced player have methods for reaching Level 70 quicker? Suggestions help alot.

Stay on lower levels as much as you can.. gather as much invader sets as you can, players at level 70+ gain no PvP commanders, so for new players that rush levels, they have to buy commanders with rubyes or play a lot in shapeshifter to get them.
There is no point for you to reach level 70, only if you buy rubyes which is another story..

The biggest problem you'll have is that if you play the game right, you'll be level 70 before you're ready as events throw XP at you like candy. Definitely don't try to get there more quickly. Ignore all quests that aren't things you're already going to be doing endgame wise. If you're level 35, you can probably already dump all your resource buildings and dwellings, that'll cut off some of the XP sources, and replace it with hitting towers and event camps instead.
Personally I choose to go to kingdoms as soon as you unlock them, ship over a bunch of troops and tools and getting hitting towers asap. The quicker you build them, the better they'll be when you hit level 70. Level 70 is about being as strong as you can be, but you don't get any stronger at all by hitting level 70. As people have said, the longer it takes, the longer you have to develop.
