Topic: [360500] Tools or no tools on undefended flanks or centre.

Until recently have always put tools on undefended flanks for the main reason that it saves me fluffing around when I have incoming.
I did however wonder if tools have any effect on undefended sides. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

apart from what you said not really switching to fire tools on middle and undefended flank helps with RBC attacks so you aren't wasting good tools but besides that no benefit or gain for it
