Topic: [365101] Using your phone or tablet to access Empire. Possible?

Since the implementation of html5, the use of Puffin to access the game seems to be a non-starter. A team mate HAS managed to log in using it, (though using it is VERY unsatisfactory) but the cursor won't even stay in the username box to fill it in when I have tried. is well and truly redundant.
I have tried accessing on my phone and tablet with my usual browser (chrome)  and the only thing I can ever get  using the usual URL  is Four Kingdoms.

It was really useful to be occasionally use the facility to get into the game this way, maybe to feed troops when unavoidably late home, or if there was a problem with pc/laptop.

Has anyone else found a way of doing this they can share?

It is possible to log in via puffin, just not the HTML version of GGE. I'm using the flash link.

Thank you Dikkie. I tried this on my tablet and it worked successfully. I guess the stored shortcut did not have /flash at the end. HOWEVER, I wonder for how long this will work....

No problem. Happy to help.

This link is already accessible for a long time (since HTML update). A lot of players are really bugged on HTML so I think GGE first have to fix that before they delete the flash link, otherwise they lose a lot of players. 

Since GGE is not the fastest with bugg fixes, I think the link will be live for a long time.

@Crom Cruach Do you know smth how we will can play when /flash will be shutdown ? I mean on mobile device, puffin browser for example ? 
Or GGE just shut down /flash and no one will do nothing about portable play ?

You can acces html5 version on the phone, open https://empire.goodgamestudios.com/ and then go into your browser settings and select desktop mode, just really annoying to navigate so I still do the flash version with puffin

Currently we will support both versions of the game. However Flash will be discontinued in 2020 by Adobe. The information we have been given is that:
"for existing Flash content, the eventual, final version of the Flash plug-in will still work after 2020, and Adobe will work with browser makers to ensure security vulnerabilities are patched." 
According to that statement you should still be able to enjoy Empire on Flash. However there will come a point where we will have to decide if we continue to update both versions or drop support for the Flash version. Today is not that day however. We will let you know on the forum once we have any information of course.

too sad that Puffin is shutting down from July1 (paid puffin will continue for a few months until a solution is provided)

Puffin's only shutting down on iOS however, maybe go try playing empire on your Samsung fridge...

I’ve been looking for a replacement for puffin so I can continue playing on my iOS mobile devices since puffin is shutting down. Most of the services I’ve tried keeps taking me to the App Store to get 4-kingdoms. 

Anyone find a good replacement?
