Topic: [365843] Can You Edit Build Items?

I'm not sure, but I thought I saw somewhere that you could edit build items.  If you had a level 5 food prod you could edit it and make it higher.  I know that several times in the build items screen when my cursor was over a placed build item it would ask if I wanted to edit it, I said yes and it took me to the crafting screen so that I could edit it and take it up as many levels as possible.

Has anyone written a how-to article on build items?

construction yard? You can craft and upgrade build items there.

Try upgrading the building in question if you haven't already

Yes, you can edit and upgrade build items using the Construction Yard/Place. You can read the following threads to get some info on how to use already collected/constructed items or how to make a new item or upgrade an already existing item.

You have to take it off the building to edit it, so it's available to be upgraded.

Keep in mind you can upgrade the items you can build.  You can not upgrade items such as Base Food Production Build Item level x but you can upgrade Food production build items level 1-9.  Note the word Base in the item name
