I'm not on all the time and sometimes I"ll have long periods without being online.  In the past, I've stopped playing for who knows how long and then my castle was just gone...so yeah...how long can I be offline before my castle is deleted???????

It depends on your activity and level. It takes at least a month, but with players who are more active, they typically disappear after 6 weeks. I recently started playing after 2 years of being away and came back. My OP's were gone, but my main was still in tact. The only thing that had changed was my location of my castle because someone had replaced my previous spot. 

If you're going to be away for a long time and wish that your troops and castle remain in tact, I would recommend putting purchasing protection mode for however long you'll be gone.

I have heard that those who purchase Rubies get longer time to be away before they get deleted.  IF @Sdr8 (US1) ever purchased any, that would be a good indicator.  I was level 70/something (100+) but had never bought.  I was gone from my US1 account for about 8 months.  Checked in, and it was long gone.  


At least Mycrotia still lives on in the Test Server...….

It's your level primarily. The higher your level the longer it takes.
