Hello,
I have a question.
I was looking for an enamy to attack that fully complies with the game rules.
When I hit the "seek enemies " tab on the bottom right side of screen, it directs me to nearby enemies. So i hit it again...and again...and again...and eventually end up where I started. None of the castles selected for me comply with the game rules.
So am I correct in assuming that this is like the Shady Lady event that got me in trouble last time?
Why does the game have these items that are against the game rules? What is the point of them? Why aren't they removed?

There are don't be a moron game rules and what GGE allows game rules. There's a big difference between the two.
The not a moron game rules vary from server to server, but here are 3 generally accepted rules that if followed will greatly help you have an enjoyable experience:
1)Don't attack people who are more than 10 lvls different from you. Reason is besides being unsporting, the game(GGE) punishes a player for attacking a player more than 10lvls below them via a large honor loss.
2)Don't attack your neighbors. It's just not a good idea since mad neighbors are bad neighbors. Define a neighbor as any body closer than 30, 50 or 100 to where you're attacking from.
3)Don't attack the same person more than say once a week.
GGE doesn't prohibit the above on the theory that people who are close to each other and mad at each other will spend money fighting each other. The theory is probably true, but if you're just starting out and getting wrecked all the time you're more likely to walk away. It shouldn't be too hard to write the above into the game for below lvl70s, but that assumes competent programmers which GGE doesn't have. As a result the player community has cooked them up, but they(players) have no way of blanket communicating this to new players....
