I've seen an alliance where the leader somehow disappeared and there's only a deputy in the alliance... forgot the name so I don't have a screenshot. If a player were in that situation as the deputy, is there any way they could take the crown? Just food for thought.

Nope. The Crown can only move 2 ways. The Wearer of the Crown must GIVE it, or if the Wearer goes to Ruins (possibly to the point of deletion) the game will give it to the next highest officer - I THINK in alphabetical order.dliu3 (US1) said:I've seen an alliance where the leader somehow disappeared and there's only a deputy in the alliance... forgot the name so I don't have a screenshot. It's strange then that I saw the alliance with no leader... must've been a bug or something.Wasso (INT3) said:Nope. The Crown can only move 2 ways. I have heard of that, and seen screenshots of it. That IS a glitch when it happens. But, no one is surprised by that. What I mentioned above is what is supposed to happen.dliu3 (US1) said:It's strange then that I saw the alliance with no leader... must've been a bug or something.Wasso (INT3) said:Nope. If they have so many bugs, why has nobody called the exterminators?

They have called the exterminators, but nothing is effective....
This particular bug has been around for at least 5 years. I experienced it early in my playing.
