Topic: [374300] Best Coin Troop for Farming?

[-374300] jayus1 (US1) [US1] :: May 27, 2020, 4:04 a.m.
In your opinion, or using math, what is the best coin troop for farming npcs for coins. Especially towers, forts and nomad/sami camps.

Take into account cost, time and travel speed.

Your help is greatly appreciated :)

Fortresses macemen/crossbowmen if you have them (you can even do dragons with them). If not then samurais or even the spear women are the next best option.

For other things then i think that the veteran crossbowmen is the best, its the quickest to recruit and is extremely cheap. I haven't researched them neither do i intend to but that's what i heard.

easily vet heavy crossbowmen for me. i can recruit 200 in 3 hours and it costs me just under 20k. amazing

For farming normally I'd say easily veteran heavy crossbowmen, however if you also do events I'd reccomend the imperial units due to the possibility of relic heroes with + combat strength, so if you collect enough of those then imperial bowmen are better due to the decrease in losses./

It seems like veteran heavy crossbowmen is the winner for being cheap and easy to train. I will definetly be training those once I got their research complete.

I have a relic comm that has +strength for imperial units. I never even noticed that. Il definetly have to try it out. :)

And thank you all for commenting here.

For fixed setups like towers and fortresses I use a mix of soldiers (including some ruby troops that will survive if I don't send too many of them) to minimize losses, for example on a maxed tower in sand:

Lost units in this case are 2 elite crossbowmen.
On a maxed tower in fire I typically loose 3 coin troops.

On nomads and similar camps I mostly use ruby troops, the ones that somehow end up in enormous amounts in my castles after an outer realms event.

can you share the details of how you loose 2 troops there, because I usually I don't use my horrors except for pvp hits but always tend to have 6-10k spare from or mainly, since using my start with imperial marksmen I loose 4-5 a hit (no titles just weapon master and remorseless)

First wave details:
middle:
right flank:

Courtyard (basically any reasonable mix is fine here):

Large army just to carry more goodies; can also be done with smaller army to save coins for travelling (or if you don't want so much food or other stuff).

Can anyone share the best attack setup for ice and sand fortresses?
