Sceats can be won in the Kingdom League, if you are level 600 or higher at the start of the league.
They can also be purchased in small quantities at high prices from the storm islands shop
Sceats are used in the third and fourth tab of the Hall of Legends menu to perform research, unlocking lvl 6 keep, defenses, and all the new mead and honey troops and resources. Sceat research is unlocked at LL650.
