I own a Monument. Since I own it I can not send support .. I have to station troops there .. since the monument doesn't produce food where does the food come from for those troops .. I have lost troops to starvation

Can you build food production buildings in the monuments? (I never owned one)

You can't, the troops stationed at a monument consume food from your main castle.
