just read the building info
relic wood cutters produce more wood than woodcutters and forest lodge (like grannies and relic greenhouse/conservatory)
especially with base prod build item

Neither really, looting should give you plenty but if you dont loot much then its the relic as you have to build 10 levels to match the production..
If you look at the better players castles that will show you what to do..

just use relic castelan its better for your castle use the space for public order aka  deco items
