If you want to surrender an outpost and get one closer to home then if you surrender it then will you get that castellans back or you don't and once you use it it's gone.

Also can you move your outpost that would be great

You can't move an outpost, but you will get the castellan back when you surrender an outpost, so that you can then capture a new one.

Wiglema is right also you will ket back all the deco items and you will ket back your relic green houses
