I am part of the US1 server, and I've noticed almost every menber of my alliance is active, except for my leader. I would like to know what will happen in the long term. Will he turn into ruins and the leadership of the alliance change? Will he still be leader if he turns into ruins? How much time do ruins stay in the game?

If he is no longer active, he will go into ruins and the length of that time before he does is like asking how long is a piece of string.

Secondly, if he does go into ruins, then normally the deputy (if there are many, then it is normally the first on the list) should get automatic leadership.
