Hey, so I am a level 44 player (currently) and I saw that in technicus that a relic quipment that gives 84.5% melee and ranged combat strength (castellan) for 5000 rubies. I have rubies way more than that and so I want to buy that and equip it. So should I buy it? Does ranged and melee combat strength also account for the courtyard or only the flanks?

Bear in mind that as soon as you hit level 70, you will easily be able to get equipment that good or better for free.

Hi there, yes melee and ranged counts for all areas, I hope so anyway haha, as poseidon said above,
I think tho what you need to know, that I ddint know when I was your level, is that you cannot mix relic and non relic items together, I think the item your talking about is a castelian weapon, you cannot use it with non relic pieces, you could however just use the weapon on its own, but you would be best to get a couple of other pieces really, some times there is a sale on the items in the equipment trader tent, I got my first weapon for 3500 rubys thinking I could use it, that is when I found out you cannot use relic with non relic, I didnt get the rest of the pieces, I didnt spend on the game at the time back then, I would say a weapon, armour and the artifact are the most important cheep way to get a half decent relic com, but you can get these pieces for free when you get to level 70, the quality may not be as good, but there are many ways to get relic items when your level 70, I say if you have the rubys, then its worth it, but get the cheepest relic pieces when there is a sale on sometimes up to 40% off the items, dont worry about gems, if you have enough or dont mind, get the 4 equipment pieces and a hero but dont get the gems, there not needed and you would have one of the best coms out of all the under 70 players, I liked building normal ones tho IMO, but its your choice
