How can you assign a relic Castellan to your castle.....I removed the castellan assigned to castle but all the boxes are "x'd" when I try to assign the relic castellan to his spot.

Is there a trick to be able to assign relic Castellan's and relic equipement?

I just passed level 70 and think I might need some building to be able to do this.

Any help would be appreciated.

Castellans cannot be removed from a castle, only their equipment items can be removed.

Can you show a screenshot of what you are trying to do?

Note that it is not possible to mix relic equipment with non-relic equipment items.

In Outers, being level 11, I was already able to assign a relic piece to a commander, so I'm pretty sure your level doesn't matter and no particular building is needed either.

I figured it out.

You have to remove all of the equipment items first and then remove the casetllan from the city. You can replace them with a relic castellan and then add relic equipment to them.

You have to pull everything off of the castellan first and then it will work but all has to be "relic" items including the castellan.
