You get a weeks protection and the first few things you build are quick, not cheating enough?

If you mean advantages, then new players already have these in place to protect them in the early stages of the game. Many things have been implemented since the game originated to protect lower level players, for example the lost of honour points to high level players, no glory, just to name a couple.
If you mean cheats, then cheating of any kind is frowned upon by GGS and will result in a permanent ban.

Newbies get 1 week of protection. If you only had 2 days of it, then it is because you attacked a player (not an RBC) during the protection period.
