By being tactical with the type of troops you send and equipping them with the appropriate tools to help them assist the attack (Scaling Ladders, Manlets etc). If you send a group of Macemen towards the right flank which is defended by Spearmen of equal quantity then you'll obviously get crushed, however if you sent in Crossbowmen instead along with the appropriate siege tools to wear down the castle defences then victory will likely be yours (at least on that flank).

I'm a level 51, and haven't figured this out yet:
Pretend that player X in Alliance Y is 2 units from me in great empire, if I attack his ally in the Great Empire who is 700 units from me, does the defender get a 14 hours warning because of his ally's (player X's) castle being so close to me?

im not in that wrold but as far as i know they had to start from scratch once apon a time or else they would never exist

Hi. I'm new and have been playing for a couple of days. Is there any way I can rotate my castle? because I'm trying to complete the quest called Protect your castle, but I think the last tower is hiding behind the keep.

Well we had to obviously start from scratch at the begining, but I just joined as did nearly my whole last alliance....

OK, BSK, started a long time ago, And there was 2 alliances in the running. Which was BSK and The Liberals. Back then BSK Had about 27 Members and no other family connections. You could have unlimited pacts back then so they had a pact with a lot of people. They have grown over time. The Liberals merged with another band of alliances. Texas rangers also have been around for a long time, but they were small. Then Phil and his alliance came along and now there are 4 major parties in World 2. So clearly they have grown and they did have to start out as nothing like anyone does now. World 2 never used to have big alliances( No one over 30 members). Then it became a lot more ruby populated and has grown a lot. Planet earth came along and made a good impression. So yes everyone had to start somewhere, But as you see they have grown over time and who knows in 3 months time you could be just as strong as them.
