The resource barterer is another event, it is a merchant looking tent, in which you can trade resources for other resources or coins for resources, trading, will cost you more than you recieve

You cannot give resources to another if you don't have a marketplace. Marketplaces can be obtained from level 7 onwards.
There is no trade resource function other than the resource barterer - something completely different to marketplaces. You must negotiate with the player through letters until you come to an agreement e.g. I sent you 1500 food, you send me 1500 wood. However, you must trust the player because there is no guarantee that he will send you the resources.
Please open a new thread for a new question. However, in this case, it would have been better if you had done a search before asking this as it has been answered numerous times.

i have never seen him before at my castle he has never come. i really don't think he will come but one of my alliance members has seen him at least 5 times. so there is nothing that you can do to get him to your castle you just have to hope and wait to see if he does?

No, I have been playing for almost 3 years now and I have seen him twice. He is very rare and usually comes every 2 months on a morning, around 5 O'clock (ish)

I don't think the resource barterer will return.
The barterer achievement (10 points) has disappeared for those players that still had it open.

You know what that means? That those of us who DO have the Bartering achievement have a limited edition collector's edition time-limited achievement...I've always wanted a collector's item.
