In the alliance cash box the is the Increase effect. I was wondering what exacly does it do and does it work for rubies also. Thanks

I don't know what you mean by that, there are only 6 categories:
- Members (Increases the number of possible members in the alliance)
- Support - Travel Speed (Increases the travel speed of your support troops you send to other members of your alliance)
- Market barrows - Travel Speed (Increases the travel speed of market barrows between alliance members)
- Number Bonus (Awards a bonus for all ressources that are paid to the alliance funds)
- Looting bonus in war (Awards a bonus for plunder from members of your alliance on whom you have declared war)
- Attack - Travel Speed (Increases the speed of your attacking armies against members of alliances you have declared war upon)

Unless you mean the Number Bonus? If so, say you donated 100 000 wood and 100 000 stones to the alliance funds, with that Number Bonus set at 10%, it would add another 10 000 wood and 10 000 stones as well.

So the answer to your question is "no". It does not work on coins either.

In reference to the market barrow speed increase does that reduce the travel time when I send market barrows from my castle to my outposts or only if I send it to other alliance members?

Does the Number Bonus apply to ruby donations as well? Because it hasn't been functioning that way for us.

It doesn't and is not supposed to. Try to READ the posts above you as this has been pointed out twice.

If it's the one in the Alliance box, it's from yourself to and from other alliance members only.
If it's the one in the Research Tower, it's to yourself only.
