Lets say an aggressor is about level 40, and you're about lvl 12-15 by the time protection wears off
What can you do to protect yourself?
How much damage can he do to you? Can you do anything?

he can send way less soldiers and he cause less damage, and is pretty unlikely for him to get honor, therefore glory from you, to protect yourself try getting in a good alliance, or buying more protection, and well there is almost nothing a level 15 can do against level 5 barrack soldiers :S

can he cause a lot of damage if you have a few hideouts and level 2 keep?
if all your alliance members are low level like you, and he wants to target you specifically, what's the 2nd best option?

yeah it sucks. you would be suprised how many really high levels have alliances you can seek for help. there are people that dont like bully's and will help you. so say that level 40 prob wont bother you when several 50's or a 60 step in.

Honestly, all you can do is try not to get noticed and keep your honor low for a while

Hideouts dont increase or decrease the amount of damage, only decreases the amount of resources the opponent are likely to loot because you have more safe camp, try keeping your honor low as Luke said, and if he targets you and only you, you can try to talk to his alliance, or getting in a good alliance, ususally a level 40 attackin a level 15 is not the usual honorable behaviour members of good alliances have

yeah, a level 38 was attacking 2 people in my alliance non stop. i messaged his leader who is in a "helpful" "non bullying"alliance and asked for a reason this was happening. he said it would stop and it did, plus the attacker was demoted in the alliance. there are a few trolls, but for the most part ive seen people play fair. just have to keep it going when you are higher levels and take your turn looking out for newbies

I agree with Luke, you need to keep your honour low, this won't attract attention and you should be safe while you level up, also try get in a good alliance soon as possible.
If you are a ruby player then you can buy protection, but whats the fun in that?
Also if you are REALLY active and/or buy rubies some of the bigger alliances might let you in at a low level, but you have to know what your doing.

no he will not attack you When you are a high level person you click on the attack button then you will see that they will minus your honor points so he will not attack you.
