so the traveling knights are back. if i find the relics i get 160 men in total. but my question is how the heck is someone supposed to feed these things??( you might as well add a golden coral to the building list so i can feed em all and do it cheap:D i want em but i actually may avoid finding the peices until i can get a food outpost going. what a bummer

Well, they only consume 640 food, and you are allowed to go into negative production - I once sustained -1200 per hour for about a day. If you don't have 640 food, either get a food outpost, or you might be too low a level to try and do this.

you can try to hire a food overseer also

You might want to increase the lv of your Flour Mill, having a food outpost helps, but regularly send food over.

When I got my first large travelling knights, it coincided with getting my estate level2. Used the knights to steal someone elses food outpost, and struggled like hell raiding other players for food for the next 24 hours. This time, it really will be a struggle to maintain them all. If I get them and cant keep them, Ill crash them into someone who attacked me the other day. two birds, one stone :P

simple logic, if you can't keep them don't get them but yeh kissyfur is right, u can get them just to piss off someone

I had found all of the relics/map pieces but had not attacked the treasure castle until I saw the new traveling knights offer today. I won the battle but did not receive the reward. I'm guessing it's because my map pieces had already been found? Or maybe because I'm a newbie with 1 day of protection left? Just curious.

No. Relics are different to map pieces. The travelling knights have a relic which, when completed, gives you soldiers and, for some relics, special tools. Adventure maps need map pieces to complete, and when you defeat the castles, you earn rubies and a decorative item.

My problem with the travelling knights quest is that sometimes when I attack a robber barron castle it says i found a piece of the relic, but then it doesnt appear on that quest but actually appears in the adventure section, and this has happened at least 2 or 3 times today

the relic, and the pieces of the map are not the same, unless is a display bug that says that you got a relic and you got a piece of the map actually

Yeah that is what happened it definitely said i got a piece of the relic, for my first one it went to the travelling kinights, then it said i got another piece of the relic but it went to the map - i wouldnt mind much if it was a once off but this happened to me last time the travelling knights came and has happened a few times to me today

If you have outposts, try sending some of the troops there - it would lower the food decrease in your main castle

Hehe, I've been sustaining -2047 at my desert castle for the last 30 hours....

im not even stressing the over eating knight herd. haha. aliens just took 30 of mine today and it seems at one point or another knights go missing for everyone.

Wow. That uses over 60,000 food - you must be doing some serious looting. Either that or about a million food bubbles from the villagers.

i completed tht qust at a heaps low lvl at like lvl5-8 i got em.i bought it outright with meh rubies, yeah they were hungry hungry hippos but i constantly made deals with people and i finally got a good sustainable food production going but it took a while until i did. i advise u do not do this qust unless u are certain u can feed them big boys.
