Me and 10 friends started playing the game and are in a alliance but there are some pretty hefty distances between us. How do we get together in a cluster so we can support each other? Are we able to choose were to build our next castle and cluster those together or are we stuck with whoever happens to be around us.

yep, you have to stay where the game put you, you cannot change of place or select where to go, "Mr. Bertstare.Image"

There is no way to choose your locations when your castle is created on the map. It is entirely random.
If you don't like your location, you can write to support to delete your account, and create another afterward. If disapointed again, repeat.

So its impossible to play with friends? Does your 2nd castle have to be within a certin distance of your original?

We are not trolling, it is that way, your Outposts can be captured anywhere you want though

So we can capture outposts the same general area and station troops there? Then go out raping all the other nearby people?

Do outposts turn into castles as you upgrade them?

Yeah, but if you choose to place your outposts far from your main castle, that leaves your main castle wide open for attack.

Outposts are castles in fact only with a different name and with not all the buildings unlocked

your sword brothers might be much closer to send supplies to--and as for support soldiers, there is travel upgrades in the alliance. I also give the suggestion that if someone doesn't want to play anymore or the alliance adds another spot, the farthest member can try to recruit someone close in the neighborhood.
