Which is better ?:
To fill your castle with parks ? (gives more PO but occupies more place, thus less space to build more)
Or with theaters ? (less PO but saves space to build more)

parks give more PO. per square of space than theatres, so parks are better

The things talked about in this paragraph are all based on space/PO, because in the end, space matters a lot more than resources. The Park is the best standard decoration. Flat Earth is the best adventure map reward (and it beats the Park, as does the War Banner and the Clever Wives). The Festival Square is the best decoration, beating Flat Earth, the Park and every other ruby deco.

even if you can extend your castle buying more parks is always better than having more theatres

I don't understand your argument. After a certain number of "exstions", you can't buy another one. Whether or not you can buy an extension, theatres (not "theatures") are NOT as good as parks - parks give more PO per square.
