how often do the barterer show up like once every month or what:S

As has been said previously, it is random. Completely random, like all of the events. It could appear 2 days in a row, and then not for another 3 months. I would say that it appears on average once every 2 weeks, but I could be completely wrong.

ive been playing going on 3 weeks. ive seen every event at least 2 times some even 4 times. with the exception of the great tourny.. the resource barterer has not come once. i asked about him, looked him up. the only info i got was you give more than you get. and alot of people havent seen him either. so he is atleast in my world the least seen event here

I have seen him but only once. It is possible that he is rarer than the other events - maybe even rarer than the Glory Tournament.

I have only seen him once, I think that his exchange rates are 1200stone > 500 wood, 1300 wood > 500 stone
not sure about food for wood/stone, but I think it is about 2600 food for 500 wood and more food for 500 stone

I had a problem with the bartering 2 day ... I started with 2283 wood in my supply and wanted another 1000. So I clicked on 500 coins to exchange for the 1000 wood. I expected then to have 3283 wood but my wood suppy was reduced to 800 and something (not even by 1000) and I didn't end up with 500 extra coins either so it didn't work backwards!... I'm a bit miffed coz my wood pile is now rubbish... has anyone else had this happen OR is it that I am an idiot...

I wish you could transport him to your outposts. Rediculous to have to cart all the crap to main castle just to trade. Even if you had to pay a sum to transport him, it would be worth it.
