Hello guys,although I am not new to the game, I have one question-
What is the criterion for getting rubies from robber baron castles? ?(

you get rubies randomly from attacks if are RBCs level 3 or above, if you win of course, you earn more if the level of the RBC, NPC's in general is higher

No, because you don't always earn the same amount of rubies anyway, I have level 35 RBC's and they usually never give me the same amount of rubies, even if it is with the same level and amount of victories to the next level
