You gain honour points from players who have a similar level or honour to you. The higher the level/honour of the player, the higher the honour you earn from them.
You gain glory points from taking part in battles against players who you can also earn honour from. The bigger the battle, the bigger the glory.
When you have a high honour, you get a bonus in glory. This is the primary use of honour.
When you get enough glory, you move up a glory rank. You then earn rewards - wood, stone, food, coins, rubies and even permanent discounts on troops.
I hope I've explained this clearly, but I really don't understand how people get confused between honour and glory. They are 2 completely seperate things. It's like saying "I don't know what the difference between coins and rubies are".
