I looked at all of the various thornking threads, but found nothing informational about the ending, so I will post a few things that werent explained at all:
1) you get 300 (+50 quest) rubies for defeating the necromancer castle
2) you cant send back resources or troops unless you dismantle your camp (you end the event forever)

if anyone else has anymore questions, I can answer them, if this is already in a thread and I just missed it, I am sorry and I hope someone can merge them

I'm going to add something here, and I know I've being saying it all over the place, but I want people to remember it:

The total reward is a lot more than the final reward of 300/350 rubies - it is 900 rubies. That includes all 19 towers (including both double keep towers) and all quests that reward rubies.

I easily did it with 400 troops (2HS + HCB) and 288 morale.

You don't *have* to reduce the troops - send as many as you want/can. The more you send in later waves, the less you're going to lose in the keep.

What do you mean? Do you want to win the battle with only 300 soldiers? Do you want to lose a maximum of 300 soldiers?

I sent my attack with 5 mantlets per flank and tools to take out wall bonuses with 179% morale and 290 troops, only 50 survived though

How many kings guard troops do you get for defeating the necromancers castle?

0, but you get 350 rubies. The total kingsguard you get are 500. You get 140 from the final quest - to defeat all 19 towers, so you're obviously going to get 140 and will probably get more.
