How am I supposed to get one when every last one I see is occupied by someone much, much higher level than me? Any advice?

hmmm i suppose that is true
i have 16, 10 food, 4 wood and 2 stones
every few days they release a few villages somewhere, keep your eyes open for these and if there is a person who is lvl 30 or lower take his villages and tell him it was a quest:D:D:D:D

i have same problem theres none left in north south west or east im afraid your just gonna have to capture them from others

Hehe, don't know if I should be provoking a fight with a Lv 30... I myself am only Lv 32...

LOL - It's not how big you are it's how you use it - so to speak. It seems the whiners expect Everwinter to be like Empire. It is not.
You want resources? You gotta fight for 'em. Burning Sands is even more cut throat. GET USE TO IT!

I just unlocked Everwinter Glacier, and I'm in the same situation, can't find any resource village and am completely surrounded by higher levels, how are you suppost to have a fighting chance?

Aw... I really love everwinter. Find resource village there is easy. It's one hell of fight in burning sand and firepeak
