A beginning Bowman/Spearman pair have a combined defensive total of 99 and consume 4 food. An Archer alone has a defensive total of 108 and consumes 3 food.

Is it a wise move to replace the lower level troops when possible?

Seems like it to me, but I worry that there may be an unforseen downside.

Yes its very good trust me

Just send a suicide attack, but dont do it all in one

Then replace with the archer.

Also, i think ur attacking with def only, defenders are for defense, attackers are for attack
