What exactly is this new event that has popped up in the bottom left hand corner of my screen? When I run my mouse over it it says "Open the treasure chest!" Is it an event for if you buy rubies and, if you buy enough gain the prize? Or is there a second way to open this treasure? Help and clarification would be appreciated.

The only way to open it is to buy the rubies, unfortunately. You get the reward at the bottom when you get the required rubies, and the rubies aren't wasted, which is good if you buy rubies

This event 100% make us Poor!
1.we must buy rubies and it waste money
2.If we get it our production of food can stuck if u not planed well
3.Just the tool that good

I disagree, this is NOT good if you buy rubies as you have to buy them at full price instead of waiting for the 50% or 75% extra prime time. Like the armourer they are starting to tease us to buy at full price instead of buying at discount.

Either way you need to spend money, this is just a way of making you pay a little more I think

Yes you need to spend money to enter the event, however you gain as previous stated before in the thread, the items at the bottom of the pop up. You do however get to keep the rubies as they are not used up for the event.

It is a players choice whether they do the event, theirs and their alone.

It depends... would you value 31,000 rubies (+100% ruby sale) over 300 strong troops and 75 (if I remember correctly) of the best tools?
