How do I see if I have troops at my alliances castle I stationed there or if they returned home?

If there still there how do I recall them or send them home?

look at your travel overview

Yes, in the travel overview you'll see them as "stationed", there's white flag next to them and you can recall them using that.

If they're not on the travel overview they may have been killed. If the castle they were stationed at was attacked you would have received a report. If there's no report and no troops on the overview you may have lost them due to a bug. How long did you station them for? Maybe they have already returned to you castle?
